Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel announced in the assembly that the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Anand Civil Hospital will be held soon.

“The land identified for the new civil hospital is within 3km of the railway station and bus stand. The proposed 200-bed hospital will be set up for Rs 160 crore and have a 50-bed ayurvedic hospital,” he said.

The Sanction Committee approved the construction of this hospital on April 25, 2023. Minister Rishikesh Patel mentioned that the foundation stone for Anand Civil Hospital will be laid soon.

He also informed me that General Hospital-Anand and SSG Hospital at Petlad are operational in Anand district.

Additionally, he highlighted that 54 primary health centres and 14 community health centres in Anand district are working around the clock to serve the people.
