Bharat Agri Fert & Realty to develop seven-star resort in Mumbai's outskirts

Infrastructure  -  Jun 25,2024  -

Bharat Agri Fert & Realty (BAFREL) will develop India’s first seven-star resort on the outskirts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

The company plans to launch additional 170 rooms with a banquet hall and enhanced amenities in 2025-2026 to serve as venue for destination weddings on the banks of a river within the 120-acre freehold land.

The project is planned in line with PM Narendar Modi’s vision, 'Wed in India' initiative. Additionally, the company will intensify its focus on the hospitality sector in the next two-three years.

The new resort project will operate under the Anchaviyo brand, which is India’s first premier resorts. It will elevate the Anchaviyo Resort's position and strengthen India's reputation as a leading destination for luxury hospitality.

This expansion will take place on the surplus freehold land at its existing Anchaviyo resort at an estimated cost of Rs 50-55 crore. Currently, the company operates 80 luxurious theme-based rooms at the same location.

Situated in Palghar district, Anchaviyo will offer tranquillity, natural beauty, and proximity to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust's (JNPT) new Vadhavan port. This world-class infrastructure is expected to further attract business travellers.
