Berry Alloys Gets 93.43-Acre Land Allotment for ₹1,200-Crore Manganese-Steel Complex in Bobbili, Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has allotted 93.43 acres at Bobbili Growth Centre, Vizianagaram, to Berry Alloys Ltd for an integrated manganese and steel materials complex with an investment of ₹1,200 crore. The land includes 90 acres of industrial land and 3.43 acres of adjoining land at a concessional rate.

The project will feature a manganese sinter plant, DRI facility, carbon paste plant, and 115 MW captive power plant. It will produce 5 lakh tonnes/year of manganese sinter, 3.3 lakh tonnes of DRI, and 60,000 tonnes of carbon paste, creating around 813 direct jobs.

Berry Alloys, a ferro-alloy manufacturer supplying domestic and global steelmakers, will expand Andhra Pradesh’s metals ecosystem by leveraging the state’s mineral resources, ports, and logistics network. The government aims to develop a wider supplier base and increase industrial activity in the region.
