While no investment value has been disclosed, the facility is positioned among India’s larger dedicated biologics manufacturing sites.
Global pharma company MSD has been announced as the anchor customer, supporting biologics supply for international markets. The facility is designed to serve demand across therapeutic areas such as oncology and immunology.
Overall, TheraNym marks Aurobindo Pharma’s strategic diversification from small-molecule drugs into the fast-growing biologics contract manufacturing segment, targeting global outsourcing demand from innovator pharmaceutical companies.
