ASK Automotive Raises FY27 Capex Guidance to ₹700 Crore for New Manufacturing Plant in South India
ASK Automotive Limited has revised its FY27 capital expenditure plan upward to ₹700 crore, from a previously guided range of ₹450-500 crore, to support a new manufacturing facility in South India along with broader capacity expansion.
The increased investment reflects the company's confidence in its growth pipeline and the need to support new order fulfilment and product launches. ASK Automotive cited strong order visibility, including export orders from Ford and growing demand for alloy wheels, as key drivers behind the expanded capex plan.
The company currently operates manufacturing facilities across multiple states, including its recently commissioned plant in Bengaluru, Karnataka, which serves OEM customers in southern India, and its mega facility in Karoli, Rajasthan. Both facilities have been ramping up utilisation, supporting the company's broader footprint expansion strategy in the automotive components sector.
ASK Automotive specialises in advanced braking systems, aluminium lightweighting solutions, wheel assembly and safety control cables, serving two-wheeler, three-wheeler, passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle OEMs. No further location or capacity details for the new South India facility were disclosed in available reporting.
