The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB), chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, approved proposals related to 50 companies involving investments worth ₹30,515 crore at its 18th meeting. The projects are expected to generate 29,677 jobs across the state.

Naidu directed officials to ensure the benefits of industrial development reach poor and middle-class families, and warned that non-serious investors would not be tolerated, instructing close monitoring of approved projects for timely implementation.

The Chief Minister called for greater emphasis on biofuel industries, semiconductor manufacturing, lithium-ion battery production, fast-charging EV battery technologies, data centres, and renewable energy projects including solar, wind, pumped storage and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). He highlighted plans to expand ethanol production following the Central Government's 40% ethanol blending target.

Naidu also advocated an automated approval system for industrial projects and land allocations, and emphasised building an ecosystem around the proposed Quantum Valley in Amaravati, including technology parks and quantum computing equipment manufacturing. Andhra Pradesh has targeted developing power infrastructure to support a goal of generating 160 GW of green energy.
