Amber-Resojet to invest Rs 250 crore for manufacturing facilities in Telangana

Manufacturing  -  Nov 29,2024  -

Amber-Resojet, a 50:50 joint venture between Delhi NCR-based Amber Enterprises and Hyderabad-based Resolute Group, has announced an investment of Rs 250 crore for manufacturing facilities in Telangana.

This move aims to establish capacities for producing fully automatic top-load and front-load washing machines and their components, as part of a comprehensive backward integration strategy. The investment will be executed in phases over a five-year period and is expected to generate over 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The announcement follows a meeting between a delegation from Amber-Resojet and IT & Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu. During the meeting, the Minister assured the company of government support, including necessary infrastructure and policy assistance. This investment highlights Telangana's growing appeal as a manufacturing destination and underscores Amber-Resojet's commitment to expanding its footprint in India.

The company is also exploring the potential of establishing an advanced printed circuit board (PCB) production facility in the state to further strengthen its manufacturing ecosystem.
