Adventz Group to Invest ₹1,700 Crore in Logistics Park and Wagon Tanker Plant in West Bengal
Adventz Group has announced an estimated investment of ₹1,700 crore for two new projects in West Bengal. The investment includes a ₹1,200 crore logistics and warehousing park at Sankrail and a ₹500 crore specialised wagon tanker manufacturing plant.
The logistics park will be developed on approximately 100 acres of land already owned by the group at Sankrail, a site with rail and highway connectivity as well as access to water and power infrastructure. Separately, the group plans to establish a specialised wagon tanker manufacturing plant in collaboration with Nymwag of the Czech Republic, with commissioning expected in September or October this year.
Adventz is also planning residential, commercial and shopping mall developments on land already available with the group, though the company said it is still working out the details of these projects.
The logistics park is expected to strengthen logistics and industrial infrastructure in West Bengal, while the wagon manufacturing facility will expand the state's rail equipment manufacturing capacity. The developments reflect continued private sector investment across logistics, industrial and commercial real estate segments in the state.
