Advait Energy declared qualified bidder for 50 MW battery storage in Gujarat

Advait Energy Transitions has been declared as a qualified bidder for a significant battery storage system in Gujarat.

The work involves setting up a 50 MW/500 MWh of a project of 500 MW/1000 MWh standalone battery energy storage system under Phase-IV of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam's (GUVNL) tariff-based global competitive bidding. This initiative, supported by viability gap funding (VGF) aims to enhance energy reliability and sustainability in the region.

The contract, to be completed within 18 months, marks a crucial step in advancing battery storage capabilities in India. Advait Energy Transitions was formerly known as Advait Infratech.
