Adani Enterprises and Jabil Sign MoU for 50:50 Joint Venture to Manufacture AI Racks and Data Centre Equipment in India

Manufacturing Oct 13,2026

Adani Enterprises and Jabil have signed a non-binding MoU for a 50:50 joint venture. The venture will manufacture and assemble AI and data centre equipment in India. It is subject to definitive agreements, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. The MoU follows the strategic alliance the two companies announced in June 2026.

The venture would manufacture and assemble AI racks, servers, storage and networking equipment used in data centres. It is expected to have multi-gigawatt AI rack manufacturing capacity. The joint venture would also provide installation and commissioning. The June announcement also referred to liquid cooling systems among the products. The sources do not give the plant location, investment size or timeline.

The venture is expected to supply hyperscalers, neoclouds, data centre operators and enterprises. It would also provide a manufacturing base in India to serve domestic demand and support exports.

The companies cite projections that India’s data centre capacity will reach 5-8 GW by 2030. The venture also fits the Adani Group’s commitment to invest $100 billion by 2035 in 5 GW of green-energy-powered, hyperscale AI-ready data centres. The venture would add hardware manufacturing to the group’s existing presence in energy, infrastructure, logistics and data centres.
