AAI Awards 302 Crore EPC Contract to PNC Infratech for Pantnagar Airport Expansion in Uttarakhand
NC Infratech Ltd has emerged as the L1 bidder and secured an EPC contract worth 302.44 crore from the Airports Authority of India for the expansion of Pantnagar Airport in Uttarakhand. The company announced the development on May 29, 2026.
The civil construction scope includes a new domestic terminal building along with parking facilities and an electrical sub-station, as well as approach roads, ancillary structures and allied infrastructure. The contract also covers MEP works, electro-mechanical systems, airport systems, IT systems and security systems.
On the airside, PNC Infratech will carry out runway extension and strengthening works, along with upgrades to the apron, taxiways, isolation bay, RESA, perimeter road, runway lighting system and NAV-AIDS facilities. The contract additionally includes maintenance, operation and AICMC services.
The project is to be executed within 24 months. Once complete, the expanded airport infrastructure is expected to support growth in passenger traffic and aviation activity in Uttarakhand.
