Project summary
Rail Vikas Nigam is constructing a broad gauge rail link between Rishikesh-Karnapryag through Devprayag, Uttarakhand, connecting important towns through 5 districts. The 1st block section of 5.7 km was commissioned in March 2020 and the remaining line is to be completed by Dec 2024. Tunnelling works have been divided into 10 packages for execution to ensure timely completion.
