A subsidiary of the Murugappa Group is planning to expand its phosphoric acid facility in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The expansion includes increasing capacity to 450 tonnes per day at an estimated cost of Rs. 3500 million. In 2020, the project was further expanded to include a new sulfuric acid plant with a capacity of 1500 TPD and an investment of Rs. 4000 million.
