Project summary
A new road upgradation project has been planned by the Government of Meghalaya to upgrade a road connecting Shillong with Dawki town along the Indo-Bangladesh border. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.16,000 million, aimed at boosting tourism prospects. The foundation stone for the project was laid by the Vice President of India in October 2021.
