Project summary
A new eight-km railway line project in Maharashtra is underway, connecting Kalwa and Airoli. The project is the first major one under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project 3 and is estimated to cost Rs.4760 Million. The line will be completed by 2021 and will run on an elevated section after Digha station. As of April 2018, the contract for building the station has been awarded at Rs.1110 Million and will be completed within 18 months.
