Executive Summary

A new formaldehyde manufacturing project is planned in Naidupet, Andhra Pradesh. The project includes formaldehyde production (111,600 MTPA), various resins (12,000 MTPA), and power generation through waste heat recovery (800 KW). With an estimated cost of Rs. 464.4 million, the project has received environmental clearance and consent from pollution control authorities. Construction starts in October 2023, awaiting clearance from the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority.
