A new battery anode material manufacturing plant is planned in Haraginadoni, Ballari, Karnataka, with a production capacity of 514,398 TPA and an estimated cost of Rs. 15,500 million. Construction is expected to begin in July 2025 and finish by July 2026. As of September 2024, the project is awaiting environmental clearance from the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA).
