A textile manufacturer has planned a cotton yarn manufacturing project in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, with an initial capacity of 123,408 spindles, for which an industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum was filed in August 2021. The project remained in the planning stage in October 2021. As of December 2025, it involves expansion of an existing industrial shed over 2,99,884.07 sq. m, increasing cotton yarn capacity from 10,919 MT/A to 26,806.68 MT/A with an investment of ₹3,500 million, and is under state environmental clearance review.
