A leading producer of manmade fibers is planning to expand its operations in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu. The project involves expanding production capacity to 200 TPD of POY (from PET granules) and 800 TPD of POY (from CP process) over an area of 8.33 ha. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3507.1 million and the company is in the process of securing environmental clearance. This expansion will increase production capacity and improve competitiveness.
