A new AIIMS hospital is planned in Kathipura, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, on a 243.98-acre plot, developed in three phases. Phase-I will feature a 750-bed super specialty hospital with medical and nursing colleges, AYUSH block, hostels, and ancillary facilities. Construction, costing ₹2,000 million for expansion to 201,857.35 sq.m, is scheduled February 2026–March 2027, pending SEIAA environmental clearance.
