Websol Energy Systems Limited has provided an update on its plans to increase its manufacturing capacity.
The company had previously informed stakeholders about the addition of a 600 MW cell line at its Falta plant through the Board meeting outcome on October 29, 2024.
In a recent update, Websol confirmed that it has already placed orders for the necessary equipment and made advance payments for the project.
This new cell line is expected to be installed and commissioned in the first quarter of the 2025-26 financial year.
As a result, the commercial production from the new line is scheduled to begin in July 2025.
This capacity expansion aligns with the company’s efforts to enhance its manufacturing capabilities to meet growing demand in the solar energy sector.
The announcement marks an important step in Websol Energy’s continued focus on expanding its production capacity and solidifying its position in the renewable energy market.
