Waaree Renewable Technologies (WRTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies and India's largest solar PV module manufacturer, has secured an EPC contract for a two GW solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The contract has been awarded by Sunbreeze Renewables Nine, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of Jindal Renewables.

The project will leverage advanced technologies and sustainable solutions to enhance energy efficiency and maximise power generation. 

As part of the agreement, WRTL will oversee the entire lifecycle of the project, including design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning. The project aims to deliver clean energy to the designated point of injection (POI).

The collaboration also aligns with Jindal Renewables’ broader vision of incorporating green energy into its steel production processes to lower carbon emissions.
