Waaree Renewable Technologies has secured a work order worth Rs 990.60 crore from one of the leading renewable energy companies in India for a 980 MWp solar project.

The company has received a letter of award (LoA) for the execution of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work for solar power plant on turnkey basis. The project is scheduled to be completed within 12 months as per the LoA.

Waaree RTL) is a subsidiary company of Waaree Group, caters to individual, industrial, and commercial customers by encouraging them to adopt energy solutions that helps in reducing the release of carbon. The company's unexecuted order book now stands at 2.141 GW.

The Group has successfully installed 10,000-plus solar projects, with a total operating capacity of 600+ MW. It is also a solar developer that finances, constructs, owns, and operates solar projects.
