Power Generation  -  Apr 02,2024  -

Waaree Energies has signed a contract with Sprng Energy, a Shell group company, to supply 245 MW of solar PV modules. The order entails Waaree Energies supplying 220 MW of AHNAY Series, Bi-55 545Wp modules, which will be utilised for Sprng’s project in Gujarat.

Sprng Energy is a renewable energy (RE) platform in India, with RE projects spanning across the country, with a cumulative contracted capacity of over 4.8 GWp, and operational portfolio of 2.3 GWp. This exemplifies Waaree's commitment to increase the penetration of the renewable energy and contribute to several solar projects with the delivery of the solar PV modules. Further, the partnership is aligned with the government's emphasis on domestic manufacturing and 'Make in India' initiative.

While continuing to expand its portfolio capacity, Sprng Energy views it as enabling the vision for robust and reliable renewable energy solutions.
