Vikas Ecotech Limited (VEL) announced its entry into the conventional energy sector on Monday, following the receipt of a Rs 20-crore coal supply order from cement maker Prism Johnson.
The company said in a statement that supply for the latest order will begin within the next 15 days and will be completed by October 31, 2023.
According to Vikas Ecotech Limited, it has got orders worth Rs 20 crore for providing coal to Prism Johnson Limited, which is owned by the Rajan Raheja Group.
Vikas Ecotech Limited has been actively exploring business opportunities in the energy segment including conventional sources of energy being used in India, as well as the renewable and green energy segments.
The company is engaged in the business of specialty polymers for applications in sectors like electrical, infrastructure, packaging, and automotive, among others.

The company announced in a statement that the supply for the most recent order will begin in the following 15 days and be finished by October 31, 2023.
According to Vikas Ecotech Limited, it has secured orders worth Rs 20 crore for coal supply to Prism Johnson Limited, a company sponsored by the Rajan Raheja Group.
The energy sector, comprising the traditional energy sources used in India as well as the renewable and green energy categories, has been intensively investigated by Vikas Ecotech Limited.
The company is engaged in the business of specialty polymers for applications in sectors like electrical, infrastructure, packaging, and automotive, among others.
