During the event, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Nivesh Mitras (Investment Facilitators) were appointed sector-wise for convenience of investors. They will be a single point contact for those investing more than Rs 5,000 crore, and to get NOCs from various departments.

"The scheme proposes to create two reservoirs in a 16 km stretch of Kosi river to provide drinking water supply to a large population and irrigation facilities for agriculture. The scheme will provide employment opportunities to 1,000 people," officials said, adding that the projects will be developed over the next five to six years.
