Infrastructure  -  Jun 06,2024  -

The Uttar Pradesh Government is planning to acquire an anticipated 760 hectares of land to develop exclusive Japanese and South Korean industrial cities in Noida.

The nodal agency, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), will acquire land in Gautam Buddha Nagar district for these proposed cities.

The twin Japanese and South Korean cities will span nearly 395 hectares and 365 hectares, respectively.

YEIDA plans to invest an estimated INR 2,500 Crore in these industrial enclaves. These hubs aim to attract manufacturers from both countries to set up units in Uttar Pradesh.

The proposed Noida Japanese and South Korean Cities will cater to domestic as well as global markets.

With the upcoming Jewar International Airport nearby, connectivity will be enhanced opening doors to foreign investments, particularly in the electronics and information technology sectors.
