North Western Railway has floated a tender for Major Upgradation of Bikaner Railway Station of Bikaner Division of North Western Railway (On Epc). The closing date for bid submission is 23 April, 2024.

The scope of work comprises design, detailed engineering, surveys (pre-engineering, pre-construction and post-construction, procurement, fabrication, transportation, construction (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire fighting, CCTV, coach guidance, display, communication and other related services) and installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handing over.

The contractor is required to ensure parking area development, including construction of minimum surface parking including all facilities, and making RCC trenches for laying of signaling and telecom cables.

The estimated cost of the contract is Rs 441.39 crore, with a construction period set at 36 months.
