Tender floated for six bypass road projects in Bihar

The building of six bypass projects in Bihar is being undertaken by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) through an invitation to bid.

The project, which includes six Mangobandhar, Kendua, Tolesono, Jhajha, Narganjo, and Bhairoganj Bypasses totaling 19.450 km in length, as well as two DLP-free sections totaling 21.821 km that connect NH-333A to a two-lane with paved shoulders, will be designed, engineered, procured, and constructed by the winning bidder. The contract is worth Rs 414.42 crore.

The construction of new pavement, restoration of the current pavement, building of large and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, and other structures are all included in the general scope of work.
