Mecon has floated a tender for the execution of civil engineering works required for the installation of stamp charge battery no. 12 and associated infrastructure at SAIL-IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) in Burnpur, West Bengal.

The work, valued at Rs 245.22 crore, includes key facilities such as a coal tower, RCC chimney, coke storage units, and a cable bridge. 

The scope of work encompasses all civil construction activities, including labour, materials procurement, fabrication, supply, transportation, insurance, storage, and handling. 

It also covers dismantling, debris removal, and the construction, completion, and maintenance of all necessary civil structures, procuring all required materials and components, and planning for the manufacturing, testing, surface preparation for painting, inspection, packing, marking, and transportation of materials to the ISP Steel Plant site.

The last date to submit the bid is 15 April, 2025.
