Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Limited has informed stock exchanges that its board has approved a capacity expansion at its Dahej-III greenfield manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat. The project involves installing an aggregate reactor capacity of 344 kilolitres (KL) at an estimated investment of ₹200 crore.

The expansion is expected to be completed in approximately 21 months and will be funded through a combination of internal accruals and debt. The company said the investment is aimed at meeting anticipated growth in demand for specialty chemicals and strengthening its manufacturing infrastructure to support future expansion.

To support its capex plans, the board also approved raising the company's borrowing limit from ₹300 crore to ₹1,000 crore, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.

Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem is a specialty chemical manufacturer producing phase transfer catalysts, structure-directing agents, electrolyte salts, and pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates, serving customers across more than 25 countries. The Dahej-III expansion adds to the company's existing manufacturing footprint and is intended to support its export-oriented specialty chemicals business as demand from global customers continues to grow.
