Power Generation  -  Aug 30,2023  -

A dedicated corridor for efficient logistics and pipeline connectivity exists between Gopalpur Industrial Park and Gopalpur Port in the form of the utility corridor.

A green hydrogen and green ammonia project will be established in the Gopalpur Industrial Park (GIP) in Odisha thanks to a collaboration between the renewable energy company ACME Group and Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Ltd. (TSSEZL).

According to TSSEZL, this project will be India's largest green hydrogen and its derivatives manufacturing facility.

ACME Clean Energy Private Ltd. (ACME Group) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 343 acres of land in TSSEZL’s Gopalpur Industrial Park (GIP) in the Ganjam district of Odisha. This land will be used to set up the green hydrogen and derivatives unit.

The estimated total investment by ACME Group for this project is Rs 27,000 crore, which will be invested in phases.

ACME Group’s plan for the Gopalpur Industrial Park (GIP) includes the establishment of a green ammonia production facility with a capacity of nearly 1.3 MTPA.
