Surat’s Edhas Group has inked an agreement for investment worth Rs. 1018 crore with the Gujarat government.

These agreements, totaling Rs. 1018 crore, were signed in the state capital in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel.
 
The MoU includes projects in sectors such as Fuel (Ethanol), Organic and Natural Agriculture, Pre-biotic Cosmetic Products, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing, FRP Rods Manufacturing, and IT Consulting.

The company has also launched a brand, ‘Cowberry,’ as announced by Edhas Group CEO Kaushik Sonani.

He stated,"Through this project 100% pure, toxin-free, and pesticide-free, organic certified products will be made available to people across the country through online and offline stores."

The company's director Krunal Parvadia, explained that the Cowberry FPO management software will simplify engagement with farmers across the country, guiding them in organic farming.
