Gujarat-based solar module manufacturer Sunora Solar has forayed into solar inverter production to diversify its business and meet the increasing demand for solar installations.
Initially relying on OEM services, the company plans to commence in-house production in the coming months. “We have launched our solar inverters in the range of 1 kW to 110 kW. Currently, in the initial phase, we are utilizing OEM services from a third party. However, we plan to start in-house production within the next couple of months. We decided to enter this new segment after recognizing the increasing demand for solar inverters driven by the growing number of solar installations. Now, we can offer both solar panels and solar inverters to our customers,” said Piyush Variya, Director of Sunora Solar.
The Surat-based company is now targeting the rooftop solar market, focusing on residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sectors with its low and mid-range inverters. It is also working on expanding its presence in Tier II and Tier III cities, aiming to increase awareness of solar energy benefits.
