Sun Pharma to invest Rs. 500 crore in Assam manufacturing unit

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has announced plans to invest Rs. 500 crore in a manufacturing facility in Assam.
The unit will be set up to expand pharmaceutical production capacity in the region.
It will manufacture formulations for domestic and export markets. The project supports Assam’s push to attract pharmaceutical investments.
The facility will be developed in phases after regulatory approvals.
