Sterlite secures Rs 1,373 crore for 6000 MVA Neemrana Transmission Project

Power Generation  -  Jun 04,2024  -

Sterlite Power has raised Rs 1,373-crore financing for its Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission (NKTL) project from the Power Finance Corporation (PFC). Thus, the company has concluded the deal with financial closure for this project.

The Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission SPV is to be executed on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis for a period of 35 years.

The company had acquired it in November 2023. This network will establish vital interconnections, linking the Neemrana substation to the existing Kotputli substation, while also facilitating a Line-In Line-Out (LILO) which will integrate the Neemrana-II substation with the Gurugram and Sohna substations, through the existing Gurugram-Sohna line.

Sterlite Power is a major power transmission infrastructure developer and global products and services (GPS) provider.
