Reliance Green Hydrogen and Green Chemicals, L&T Energy, AM Green Ammonia, and Waaree Clean Energy Solutions are among the nine companies that have bagged tender for green hydrogen project under the second tranche of the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme. 

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) issued Letters of Award (LoA) to these firms, selecting them from fourteen bidders.

India’s private sector is making rapid progress in renewable energy, particularly in green hydrogen production. Under Tranche-II guidelines, the project categories were:

*Bucket-I (Technology-Agnostic Pathways): Minimum 10,000 tons per year, maximum 90,000 tons per year

*Bucket-II (Biomass-Based Pathways): Minimum 500 tons per year, maximum 4,000 tons per year

A single bidder could be allocated up to 90,000 tons per year, and successful bidders can establish multiple projects to meet their allotted capacity after receiving the Letter of Award.
