A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by Shivalik Bimetal Controls Ltd. (SBCL), a well-known global manufacturer of electrical contacts, shunt resistors, and bimetal/trimetal strips. The purpose of the agreement is to investigate the viability of establishing a joint venture to produce electrical contacts in India with Metalor Technologies International SA (Metalor).

By collaborating with a well-known international leader, Shivalik hopes to improve its manufacturing capacity for electrical contact production.

Metalor Technologies International SA, headquartered in Switzerland is a member of the Tanaka group of Japan and a global leader in Precious Metals.

CFO of SBCL, Rajeev Ranjan shared, "This is an exciting opportunity for Shivalik to set up a world class organisation catering to the needs of global customers both in India and across the world."

Managing Director of Shivalik Engineered Products, Sumer Ghumman, said, "This has a potential for us to strengthen our manufacturing capabilities using the best technologies in the field of electrical contacts.
