Mattress maker Sealy launched its production facility in Gosaiguda village near Medchal.

The 40,000 sqft facility is a step in Sealy's commitment to the Indian market.

“The brand began in 1881 in Texas. Sealy now operates in many markets including America, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and others. With 20,000 mattresses manufactured and sold globally, we bring comfort and support to the Indian market,” said George Dyer, managing director of Sealy International.

The mattresses are designed to provide optimal comfort through spring support and orthopedically correct designs.

"The 40,000-sqft Hyderabad facility will become the growth driver for Sealy India, helping us lead the premium mattress segment. Hyderabad’s skilled workforce, proximity to key suppliers, robust infrastructure, and favourable logistics make it the ideal hub for our expansion," said GSS Jagannath, general manager of Sealy India.
