Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) in association with URC Construction Pvt Ltd (URC) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major project under the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation.

The project involves the "part design and construction of elevated viaduct, five elevated metro rail stations, and ramp" for the Indore Metro Rail Project.

The project is valued at Rs 543 crore. The scope of work includes the design and construction of an elevated viaduct and five elevated metro rail stations strategically located at Shaheed Bagh, Khajrana Chauraha, Bengali Chauraha, Patrakar Colony, and Palasia Chauraha.

The project includes the construction of a ramp between chainages — all crucial components contributing to the progress of the Indore Metro Rail infrastructure.

The timeline for the execution of this substantial order is set at 1,092 days.
