RVNL-Salasar JV has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) from Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company for a project worth Rs 173.99 crore in Madhya Pradesh.

The work entails the construction of 132 kV & 220 kV transmission lines and associated feeder bays on a total turnkey basis in Eastern MP. The project is to be executed in a 18-month timeline.

RVNL holds 51 percent stake in the joint venture (JV) while Salasar Techno Engineering (STEL) has the remaining 49 percent stake. RVNL, under Ministry of Railways, is involved in project development, financing and implementation of projects pertaining to rail infrastructure.
