RVNL JV emerges as lowest bidder for Eastern Railway project worth Rs 837.67 crore

State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) on Tuesday said that its joint venture (JV) with SCPL has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a Rs 837.67 crore order from Eastern Railway.

The rail PSU in a stock exchange filing said that the contract involves earthwork in cutting and filling, blanketing, construction of minor bridges, major bridges and level crossing among others pertaining to construction of multi tracking broad-gauge railway line.

RVNL holds 74% stake in the joint venture while SCPL controls the remaining 26%.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 36 months.

"In terms of Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is hereby informed that M/s RVNL- SCPL (JV) emerges as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from Eastern Railway for "Earthwork in cutting and filling, blanketing, construction of minor bridges, major bridges, RUB, ROB, retaining wall, level crossing, side drain, catch water drain, P.way work and other ancillary works from IR Ch. 205.000 km to 260.2 Km between Kalipahari (inc.) to Pradhankhuta (exc.) in connection with construction of multi tracking Railway BG line," RVNL said in its filing.
