Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) emerged as the lowest bidder for project by Eastern Railway.

The project is for construction of Sitarampur bye pass line under Asansol division of Eastern Railway.

The project cost is Rs 390.97 crore and to be completed in 24 months. In April, 2024 , KRDCL-RVNL JV was declared as the lowest bidder (L1) for redeveloping Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station at a project cost of Rs 438.95 crore under Southern Railway.

Further, the company has also been qualified for the lowest bidder position in a project worth Rs 239.09 crore, which includes the installation of an automatic block signaling system between Jolarpettai Junction and Erode junction in Salem division of Southern Railway.

RVNL specializes in implementing a wide spectrum of railway projects including new railway lines, doubling of lines, conversion of lines, electrification of tracks, and development of metro projects, among others.
