Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a road construction contract from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), valued at Rs 554.64 crore.
The work involves the construction of a six-lane, access-controlled road connecting to Visakhapatnam Port Road.
It will extend from the Sabbavaram bypass of the Anakapalli-Anandapuram corridor to Km 12.660 (Sheelanagar junction) of NH-516C.
The order is to be carried out under a hybrid annuity mode in Andhra Pradesh as part of the NH (O) scheme, and is expected to be completed within 24 months.
