Ravisankar Group Lays Foundation for ₹100 Crore Radisson 5-Star Hotel in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh
Education, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh laid the foundation stone for the Radisson Ongole 5-star hotel at Chadalavada village in Naguluppalapadu mandal, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh. The hotel is being jointly developed by Ravisankar Group and Raviprriya Hospitalities LLP at an estimated cost of ₹100 crore.
The property will be the first 5-star hotel in and around Ongole. It is planned with 151 rooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant, a premium bar, a lounge, a swimming pool, a spa and a fitness centre. Banquet halls and conference rooms spread over 2,100 square metres are also part of the design.
The hotel is located along National Highway 16, which connects Chennai and Kolkata. Ravisankar Group chairman Kandi Ravisankar said the project is expected to generate employment for local youth in the hospitality, tourism and transport sectors.
