Rajasthan govt begins land identification for Dausa-Bandikui industrial hub

Infrastructure  -  Jan 07,2025  -

The Rajasthan government has started the process of identifying land for the Dausa-Bandikui mega industrial and logistics hub.

Spanning 3,000 hectares, the project will be developed in phases to include industrial projects, logistics parks, educational institutes, IT centres, and residential townships. It is expected to be part of the Central government’s initiative to establish 20 mega industrial parks across the country.

The indusries department plans to utilise land from Rajasthan Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), government resources, and private land. A new private land aggregation policy is slated for discussion in the upcoming assembly session to streamline the acquisition process.

Rajasthan already has two recognised investment regions, Khuskhera-Bhiwadi-Neemrana (KBN) and Marwar-Pali-Jodhpur (MPJ), both part of the Central government’s mega park initiative.

The state aims to position Dausa-Bandikui as its first greenfield mega park in this list. As the government has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 35 lakh crore, efforts are underway to secure land swiftly for these projects.
