Prince Pipes and Fittings Limited (PPFL), one of India’s largest integrated piping solutions and multi-polymer manufacturers, has commenced commercial production at its new manufacturing facility in Begusarai, Bihar.
This marks the company’s eighth plant in India, reinforcing its presence in the high-growth eastern market.
The state-of-the-art facility will have a total installed capacity of approximately 60,000 metric tons per annum, developed in phases over the next 6 to 9 months.
In the first phase, the plant will produce around 24,000 metric tons per annum of PVC and CPVC pipes and fittings. The unit will cater to eastern markets as PPFL expands its pan-India manufacturing, marketing, and distribution network.
Parag Chheda, Joint Managing Director, PPFL, said, “Our new facility in Begusarai has commenced production on schedule, at a time when the industry is undergoing rapid consolidation. This strategic expansion strengthens our national presence and enhances our ability to serve the eastern market with improved efficiency, faster delivery, and optimized logistics.”
