Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation the six-lane greenfield expressway section of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor on July 8.
As per an official release, spanning over 500 km in Rajasthan, this section which runs from village Jakhdawali in Hanumangarh district to village Khetlawas in Jalore district, is built at a cost of around ₹11,125 crore.
As per the statement, this expressway will have a substantial impact on reducing travel time and enhancing connectivity between major cities and industrial corridors.
It is further mentioned that the expressway will facilitate smooth transportation of goods, boost tourism, and contribute to economic development along its route.
