PM Modi inaugurates Rs 29,400 crore infrastructure projects in Mumbai
Infrastructure - Jul 16,2024 -Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated multiple roads, railways, and port projects worth over Rs 29,400 crore in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
These projects aim to enhance connectivity and boost employment opportunities in the region.
Modi, while addressing the gathering, expressed his satisfaction at initiating these significant infrastructure developments, highlighting the improvement of road and rail links between Mumbai and neighbouring areas.
He announced a substantial skill development project for Maharashtra’s youth, expected to enhance employment prospects in the state further.
Modi specifically mentioned the recently approved Vadhavan port project, valued at Rs 76,000 crore, which is anticipated to generate more than 10 lakh jobs.
The Prime Minister remarked on Maharashtra's rich history, vibrant present, and ambitious future.
