Odisha SLSWCA Clears 24 Industrial Projects Worth ₹3,793 Crore Across 14 Districts at 147th Meeting
The Odisha government has approved 24 industrial projects worth ₹3,793 crore across 14 districts at the 147th State-Level Single Window Clearance Authority meeting.
These projects are expected to generate around 19,924 jobs and span sectors including energy storage, manufacturing, textiles, chemicals, food processing, hospitality, and logistics.
Major approvals include a ₹683.83 crore battery energy storage system by CESC Green Power in Dhenkanal, a ₹500 crore lab-grown diamond unit in Khordha, a ₹300 crore Coca-Cola expansion, and steel, ceramics, and EV-related manufacturing projects across Jajpur, Jharsuguda, and Khordha.
Textile projects form a significant employment driver, with large garment units approved in Khordha and Sambalpur. Additional approvals include hospitality projects, warehousing, food processing, and small-scale manufacturing units across multiple districts.
Overall, the clearances reflect Odisha’s strategy to diversify industrial growth across regions and strengthen its presence in emerging sectors like energy storage, textiles, and advanced manufacturing.
